I would know nothing of the true spirit of Capoeira if it wasn't for your Mestre Preto Velho. He is one of my most honored family members who has always support AKERU over the past 2 decades!
May it be stated that he was the first Afrikan-American to be authentically recognized as a Mestre from the Elders of Brazil!!
Also to mention that he is a pioneer in many other combat arts and sciences...
